Serving is a great way to begin fulfilling your God-given purpose. The Dream Team serves at church, in the community and around the world. Whether you're outgoing, behind-the-scenes, or somewhere in between, we have a team waiting for you!

God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.

We Work As A Team

We are better together. We live out this value through these two standards:

Honor one another’s strengths
Value collaboration, communication, and community

Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many. Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.

Our attitude is completely our choice, but it impacts everyone. We live out this value through these two standards:

We serve because we want to, not because we have to

Everything speaks, which means everything around us sends a message, making us feel or think a certain way. We live out this value through these two standards:

What we celebrate, gets repeated. When someone’s life is impacted by the love of Jesus, we want to hear the story. We want to share it and celebrate it! We live out this value through these two standards:

Layers Of Influence

Influence is our ability to make a difference in and through people’s lives. Godly influence is earned over time as we appropriately grow our relationship with God and develop ourselves as well as utilize our time, talents, and treasure to love and serve others. Our layers of influence bring clarity to our leadership roles.

When you become part of the Dream Team, you gain a greater level of influence and the opportunity to impact others. You represent not only Church of the King, but more importantly, you represent Jesus. As a leader in the church family, it is important to demonstrate biblical standards in speech and action to those around you.

Put God First

We always start with this core value, because it is the foundation of everything we do. We live out this value through these two standards:

Acknowledge God as number one in every area of our life
Grow in our personal relationship with Jesus

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.

Do Life Together

Scripture makes it clear that God builds through relationships and community. We live out this value through these two standards:

Be there for each other
Have fun together

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.

Reach People

God’s heart is to reach those who don’t know Him, so we are passionate about doing the same. We live out this value through these two standards:

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Build Lives

God has called all believers to make disciples, so one of our primary focuses is to help people build their lives both spiritually and relationally according to God’s Word. We live out this value through these two standards:

Point people to the Bible
Help people take their next step

Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Develop Servant Leaders

God wants us to use the gifts and talents He gave us to serve others, and to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus and every area of their lives. We live out this value through these two standards:
